What we collect and why

1. Information we collect
- Account details you provide directly: name, email address, mobile number, company/brand name, country and selected plan.
- Connected platform data, only for the accounts you explicitly connect via official OAuth: profile/page/channel identifiers, public post content and metrics (likes, comments, reach, views, engagement, posting timestamps), and the access tokens needed to read that data or publish on your behalf.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, device/browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address, for analytics and fraud prevention.
- Cookies: session cookies for login state, and no third-party advertising cookies.
2. How we use Google user data (YouTube API Services)
MySocialPulse.io's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube channel data is used solely to display analytics and generate content recommendations inside your dashboard, and is never sold or used for advertising.
3. How we use Meta platform data (Facebook & Instagram)
Facebook Page and Instagram Business account data obtained through Meta's Graph API is used only to power the features you see in your dashboard (analytics, scheduling, AI recommendations) and is handled in line with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We do not sell this data or share it with data brokers.
4. How we use X (Twitter) data
Data accessed via the X API is used only for the posting, analytics and recommendation features you activate, in line with the X Developer Agreement and Policy.
5. What we never collect
- No banking or card details (handled entirely by our payment provider)
- No government ID documents
- No biometric data
- No social media platform passwords - all connections use official OAuth
6. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to run the service (hosting, database, transactional email, payment processing), each bound by confidentiality obligations, and where required by law.
7. Data retention
Account and connected-platform data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect a platform or delete your account, associated tokens and cached data are deleted within 30 days.
8. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time, and can withdraw platform permissions from within the connected platform's own settings at any time. Residents of the EU/UK and California have additional rights under GDPR/CCPA including data portability and objection to processing - contact us to exercise any of these.
9. Children's privacy
MySocialPulse.io is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post material changes on this page with an updated date above and, where required, notify account holders by email.

Clear, SaaS-friendly terms

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using MySocialPulse.io, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility & account use
You must be at least 18 years old and only connect social accounts you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and must change your temporary password within 24 hours of account creation.
3. Description of service
MySocialPulse.io provides social media analytics, AI-generated content and timing recommendations, and (where enabled) multi-platform post publishing, subject to each connected platform's own API availability and limits.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Plans are billed monthly per platform, per add-on, or as a flat All-Access plan, as shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand. Prices are shown in your local currency for convenience; USD is the currency of record.
5. Acceptable use
- No spam, fraudulent activity, or illegal content
- No misuse of connected social media APIs or attempts to circumvent platform rate limits
- No use of the service to violate any connected platform's own terms of service
6. Third-party platform compliance
Your use of Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, and X features through MySocialPulse.io is also governed by, and must comply with, Meta's Platform Terms, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, and the X Developer Agreement and Policy, respectively. We may suspend a connected platform's features if required to remain compliant with that platform's rules.
7. AI-generated content
Content ideas, captions and best-time suggestions are AI-assisted recommendations based on available data. They are suggestions, not guarantees of results, and you remain responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it is published.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or a connected platform's policies.
9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MySocialPulse.io is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party platforms we connect to.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Data Deletion Instructions
How to delete your data
Required by Meta, Google and X app review - here is exactly how to remove your data from MySocialPulse.io:
Option 1: From inside your dashboard
Go to Account Settings → Delete My Account. This immediately revokes all connected OAuth tokens and schedules your account and stored platform data for permanent deletion within 30 days.
Option 2: By email
Email privacy@mysocialpulse.io from your account's registered email address with the subject "Delete my data." We will confirm your identity and complete deletion within 30 days, and reply with confirmation once done.
Option 3: Revoke access from the platform directly
You can also revoke MySocialPulse.io's access at any time from Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, Instagram Settings → Apps and Websites, Google Account → Security → Third-party apps, or X Settings → Apps and Sessions. This immediately stops all data access; we delete any already-stored data within 30 days.

This is on our near-term roadmap for Facebook, Instagram, X and Threads. YouTube always requires a separate video-upload step since it can't take a text-only post.
This is a rule set by Instagram itself - every Instagram post requires an image or video, even via API.
Features for that platform may be temporarily limited until the API is available again - this is outside our control but we'll communicate any extended outages.
We only send data back to a platform (like publishing a post) when you explicitly trigger that action - we never push data automatically without your action.
